MEET THE FACULTY
Jauné Buisson — Acting, Directing & Performance
Jauné Buisson is an award-winning director, choreographer, performer, producer, and educator with more than two decades of experience training young artists and creating live performance throughout New Orleans. She is the Artistic Director of Metropolitan Dance Theatre of New Orleans and an ABT® Certified Teacher.
Her most recent directing and choreography credits include Chicago and A Chorus Line at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, as well as Guys and Dolls, Jersey Boys, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carré.
In addition to her work in musical theatre and dance education, Jauné brings an extensive background in event production, producing, choreography, and performance. Her work has taken her from intimate spaces such as the University of New Orleans’ Black Box Theater to large-scale venues including the Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center, giving her a unique understanding of how to build a performance for the room, the audience, and the artists involved.
She is also frequently invited to serve as a guest master teacher and guest artist at Tulane University, Loyola University New Orleans, and the University of New Orleans, working with undergraduate students at Tulane and Loyola and graduate-level students at UNO.
That combination of theatre, dance, education, and live-event production allows Jauné to help young performers understand not only how to act, move, and tell a story, but how those skills translate across many kinds of stages and opportunities. Her goal is to prepare students to be adaptable, confident, collaborative performers who can walk into an audition, rehearsal room, theatre, concert venue, or live event and understand how to meet the moment authentically.

SCARLETT SAIZAN-LANCON
Dance & Choreography
Scarlett Saizan-Lancon is an educator, choreographer, performer, and arts advocate who brings together her passion for mathematics, theatre, and dance. A graduate of Northwestern State University, Scarlett currently teaches mathematics and special education at Andrew Jackson Middle School while continuing her professional work as a choreographer and dance educator.
A nationally recognized choreographer, she has performed across the United States and worked with professional theatre in New York and dance organizations throughout Louisiana and beyond. Her choreography spans youth, community, and professional theatre, and she is passionate about using the arts and education to build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

FLO E. PRESTI
Music & Voice
Flo E. Presti is an award-winning musical director, vocal coach, pianist, performer, and educator with decades of experience in musical theatre. A graduate of Loyola University’s College of Music with a degree in Music Education and a double major in voice and piano, Flo began her musical theatre career at age 15 and has since worked on more than 75 productions across New Orleans, New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, San Antonio, and beyond.
Flo maintains a private musical theatre voice studio and has prepared generations of performers for productions, competitions, college auditions, professional work, Broadway, and national and international tours.
She currently serves as an adjunct professor of Musical Theatre Voice in Loyola University New Orleans’ Department of Theatre Arts and Dance and has received multiple Big Easy, Storer Boone, and Marquee honors for musical direction.
