Recital Performance Opportunity
One of the most anticipated recital dances is "Dance With Me"!
At MDT, we believe in creating positive experiences and lasting memories.
This is an experience that will last a lifetime! Spending time at rehearsal and working through choreography with your daughter is never time wasted. The memories of class, in fact, are as significant as performing the actual dance on stage in front of an audience. This time is for you and your dancer … it is unique, important and very special.
+ WHICH SHOW(S) AM I IN?
You will perform in your dancer's assigned recital on 6/14/25.
+ REHEARSALS
Families will receive video links to practice at home. In person rehearsal schedules will be emailed. "Dance with Me" typically rehearses on Sunday afternoons at Country Day. Usually, families can plan for 3 in-person rehearsals from March - May.
A stage rehearsal (one per show) will be held in the evening at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre on June 12 and 13. We will email that schedule in a few weeks.
+ COSTUMES
Dancers - More info to come - it's usually something simple that you already have at home.
Adults - wear black or navy blue suit with a nice all-white, buttoned-down, long-sleeved shirt, and a dark tie. Women - Black / Navy dresses (that allow for movement), or black/ navy slacks, and low heels.
