Metropolitan Dance Theatre has sustained a remarkable reputation as a studio committed to dancers of all ages and abilities. While maintaining the school’s core values and commitment to quality, the last few years has seen MDTNO relentlessly pursue a strive for excellence that has propelled the school to serve an ever growing community of young dancers. 

 

Tiny Steps

Because young children are so different from one age to the next, MDT offers early classes that introduce the very young to dance, allowing them to express themselves through movement.

 

Young Performer Division

This program is designed to provide students with learning basics with a fun approach. MDT provides students with the highest quality dance training, allowing young dancers to reach their fullest potential. 

 

Senior Division

MDT offers a challenging, rigorous and inspiring training program for dancers ages 13 and up during the school year. Students may participate in technical classes such as jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, and hip hop.

 

Musical Theatre Program

This unique program combines the excitement of the broadway stage with acting classes, voice lessons, and choreography. 

 

Metropolitan Dance takes tremendous pride in the achievements of alumni and students on Broadway, in national tours, with dance companies, performing and studying at the collegiate level, represented by top dance agencies and enjoying thriving careers throughout the artistic and entertainment industry.
