Congratulations
Rilan Roppolo will be performing as Mereb in the JPAS production of Aida. The performances will be Thursday July 24th through Sunday July 27th.

Savannah Lloyd and Jenn Housey were in the Jr. High District Honor Chorus. Natalee Mantia is in DOO WOP RED RIDING HOOD at St. Christopher. SLU's production of Too Many Sopranos that was choreographed by Miss Jaune received Classical Big Easy Award nomination for Creative Achievement in Opera. Rilan Roppolo is a soloist in HATS OFF TO BROADWAY at Newman. Maggie McGovern is the witch in the The Pale Pink Dragon at Lake Castle. Katherine Hutton is the Mayor in Seussical the Musical with Jefferson Parish Gifted and Talented. Molly McCrory, Katie Wood and Allison Stuart were in Willy Wonka at St. Francis. Riley Reynolds and Jenna Ibieta were in Fiddler on the Roof at JPAS. Jennifer Hart is a member of St. Edward's Chorale and recently performed at Lakeside Shopping Center during Catholic Schools Week and at City Park during Christmas in the Oaks. Julia Berner is in the ensemble of Cinderella at Sacred Heart. Elise Kuehn and Katherine Smith are in Pippin at Jesuit High School. Adair Boudreaux is Helen and Sami Preston is Margie in Bye Bye Birdie at Kehoe France. Adair Boudreaux is appearing in Cresent City Lights Youth Theatre's Holiday Extravaganza in December at Gallier Hall. Miss Jaune filmed a national commercial for Louisiana Tourism with New Orleans Hornet Chris Paul. Alexis Bruza, Jenna Ibieta and Aaron Richert are in "A Christmas Carol" with JPAS. Adair and Avrill Boudreaux are featured in a commercial for the New Orleans Opera Association. Emily Bagwill, Shannon Glennon and Scarlett Scalise are cheerleaders at St. Pius X. Natalee Mantia is "Meredith" in "The One and Only Santa Claus". Brenna and Iris Hunt are in the Nutcracker with the Jefferson Ballet. Aryn Wallace is a cheerleader at Mount Carmel. Megan Fitzsimmons is on Mount Carmel's Cubette dance team. Jordan Fitzsimmons is on St. Charles Borromeo's cheerleading team. Miss Linda and Miss Jaune performed as can-can dancers for Harrah's New Orleans. Savannah Lloyd is in Zombie Prom. Elizabeth Carson and Victoria Frentz are in JPAS's children's choir. Maggie McGovern is on the dance team at Lake Castle Private School. Katie Simoneaux is on Mount Carmel's Cubette dance team. Taylor Ovella is on Mount Carmel's Carmelette dance team. Marcy Champagne is on Cabrini's dance team. Erika Bisgaard is captain of the Jesuit Jayette dance team. Brittany Ruiz, Kaitlyn Junius, Katherine Smith are members of the Jesuit Jayette dance team. Rebecca Areaux, Lily Faucheaux, Melanie and Emily Culotta are Jesuit cheerleaders. Ashley Gregory and Ramsey Kelley are Dominican Debs. Congrats to our students who participated in MDT's summer musical theatre camps and in our dance intensive.
Alum Accomplishments
MDT Alum Jessica Bacques is returning for her second year on New York University's nationally ranked dance team. Patrick Cragin was recently cast as the lead in Catholic University's fall musical where he is studying musical theatre. Andrew Brader is dancing with the Los Angeles Ballet. Toni Ann Chetta is dancing with the Washington Ballet. Tyler Chetta was nominated for a Big Easy Entertainment Award for Best Performance by a Child. Shelley Schexnayder is studying dance at SMU. Linda Rigamer and Lacey Faucheaux are currently working as dancers at Harrah's New Orleans. Sal Mannino worked as a performer at Six Flags New Orleans. Carrie Daigle was a New Orleans Saints Saintsation. Regina Daigle was a New Orleans VooDoo Doll. Niki Kleinberger was selected as a member of LSU's dance ensemble.
